Au Junhao attended Hong Kong and Taiwan's "Millennium" and said that the reconstruction plan involves three parts and has been carried out in stages.
The first project currently underway is the new government complex, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
Other projects need to be purchased and relocated after the launch. It is hoped that after the reconstruction, the community will have more small streets and small shops, pedestrian streets, green corridors, and the most important thing is to create a small street food culture area.
Part of the land in Carpenter Road Park on the northern site of the redevelopment project will be relocated to the Kowloon City Market, or the neighborhood may lose recreational facilities.
Ou Junhao pointed out that the green space of the park is only in the north of the community, and he hopes to bring the green space to the south after reconstruction and increase the space by 1.5 times.
It is also hoped that the park will be "multi-purpose" by adding jogging tracks and cycling tracks.
The reason for choosing this park to reset the Kowloon City Market is to hope that the Kowloon City Market is "not too far away" from the original site.
